《红楼梦》是一部百科全书式的小说,其中涉及到的家居用品极其丰富,描写或虚或实,或概括或具体、细腻,它们对《红楼梦》故事情节的铺陈、人物形象的刻画起到了很好的渲染衬托作用。本文拟对《红楼梦》中有关帘,幔,帐,衾,被等家居用纺织品的名称、色彩、图案、款式、用途、寓意等进行初步的考析。

Dream of the Red Chamber is a novel with encyclopedia style. The home textiles mentioned in the novel is extremely rich and the description is void or solid, recapitulatory or specific, which heightens the expatiation of the plot and the description of character images. This paper makes a elementary analysis over the appellation of home textiles such as curtains, screens, bed-curtains and quilt, and the colors, patterns, styles, purposes and implications.
