古田会议精神对加强基层党组织建设,起着重要指导和推动作用。决议针对红四军党组织中存在的问题,强调加强党的组织建设的重要性,重申和发展了"支部建在连上"的建党原则,首次在党内法规中将它加以定位并形成定制,健全了党的组织生活。决议还提出正确认识党员社会成分多元化的问题。古田会议精神为今天我们加强党的基层组织建设提供了十分宝贵的历史启示。

The spirit of Gutian Conference has had an important guiding and pushing effect on strengthening the construction of grass-roots Party organizations. The Resolution, aimed at solving problems existing in the Party, organization of the Fourth Red Army, attached importance to strengthening the construction of Party organizations. It reaffirmed and developed the Party-building principle of ＂building Party branch on the company level＂ and for the first time established its position and made it a regulation in the Party rules, which helped to strengthen organization life of the Party. The Resolution also raised the question of having a correct understanding of diverse social elements within the Party members. The spirit of Gutian Conference has provided significant historical value for the construction of grass-roots party organization today.
