略论西藏高等教育特色的形成与创新

A Brief Discussion of Formation and Innovation of Characteristics of Higher Education in Tibet

从西藏高等教育的发展轨迹来探讨高等教育在发展进程中传统与现代的结合,可看出20世纪80年代至90年代末,西藏高等教育在办学中为适应西藏经济社会发展的需要,使传统与现代更好地结合,在继承和发扬民族传统文化的专业基础上,增设了符合西藏经济发展需要的新专业,形成了传统与现代的发展模式。要保持西藏高等教育在办学过程中的民族特色,必须不断探索办学思路与创新。

This paper discusses the combination of tradition and modernity in the development of higher education from the history of higher education development in Tibet. The writer holds that from the 1980s to the end of 1990s, in order to fit in with economic and social development of Tibet and combine tradition with modernity in school running, higher education in Tibet developed through inheriting and developing the specialties of Tibetan traditional culture, adding new specialty programs to meet the needs of economic development of Tibet and forming a model of development with the combination of tradition and modernity. The writer also points out that in order to preserve ethnic characteristics of Tibetan higher education, constant efforts should be made to explore news ideas and innovate in school running.
