According to questions encountered in the application of prestressed pipe pile in soft soil foundation works of special railway line project for passenger transportation along the coastal areas, such as cushion setting, construction of prestressed pipe pile at combining site of bridge and culverts, connection of joints of pile, construction of geocell ＋ gravel cushion and so on discussion is made; at the same time measures and suggestions are proposed for optimum design in order to provide references for similar works.
