目前,许多农村图书馆名存实亡,难以满足农民朋友尤其是农村的孩子对知识、对阅读的渴求。导致农村图书馆发展滞后的原因有多种。乡镇图书馆的发展方向在于创新机制。要充分发挥上级公共图书馆在其建设过程中的重要作用,并与全国文化信息资源共享工程(NDCNC)进行有机地结合。

At present, many countryside libraries play little role in meeting the need of people especially the children in the countryside. There are many reasons that cause the slow development of countryside library. The development direction of countryside libraries is to set up creative mechanism. They should make full use of the important function of the hierarchy public library construction and the NDCNC.
