Plenty of experiments have shown that pseudo ginseng can reverse the ischemic damage of myocardial cell, reduce the heart rate, the work of cardiac muscle and the serum level of cholesterol and triglyceride, prevent the formation of plague in the artery, decrease the blood pressure and prevent shock. Pseudo ginseng is an antiarrhythmic agent as well. Pseudo ginseng is now considered as an effective drug to prevent the coronary heart disease.
