摘要
加入WTO后,中国既懂外语又懂法律的复合型人才大量缺乏,严重制约了中国对外经济文化的交流与发展。法学双语教学的目标之一就是要培养这种法学知识和外语知识并重的专业人才,但目前国内法学双语教学尚不具备实现这个目标的功能。作者首先介绍了国外三种主流的双语教学模式——沉浸式、过渡式和保持式双语教学,比较了他们与中国双语教学所承载的不同社会功能,分析了中国法学双语教学实践中,在课程设置、师资、教材、教学模式等方面存在的问题,并针对前述问题,以环境法双语教学为范例,提出了探索具有中国特色的法学双语教学之路的几点思考。
Since China's entry into WTO, there has been a shortage of professionals who excel at both English and law, which has constrained the economy and culture exchange between China and the outside world. The ultimate goal of bilingual teaching of law in China is for the students to grasp both the jurisprudence knowledge and language skills. However, there is a big gap between the common practice of bilingual teaching in China and the realization of the goal. The article introduces several mainstream bilingual teaching models from aboard, analyzes the problems in bilingual teaching of law in practice, and finally, with bilingual teaching of environmental law as example, proposes some suggestions on improvement of bilingual teaching of law.
