Tea seed oil is a kind of woody edible oil with most excellent quahty in the world ,which is produced primarily in China who has long planting history of Camellia Oleifera Abel with broad dis- tribution and wide area. Thus, there are expansive prospect and enormous potential to improve the Camellia Oleifera Abel management and products quality. The paper discusses the technical study and industrial strategy for Camellia Oleifera Abel development in our country on the basis of introdu- cing the research fi tion, superior seed ndings and progress of Camellia Oleifera Abel in the field of superior seed selec- breeding technology, cultivating technology for high or steady yield, low yield woods alteration etc. , together with quoting the production and comprehensive utihzation research of tea seed oil, analyzing the main problems relative to the Camellia Oleifera Abel technical study and industrial development.
