美国“5C”外语教育对我国大学英语教学的启示 被引量:2

Illuminating Remarks Concerning "5 Cs of foreign Languages Education in the U.S." to the College English Teaching in China

摘要 美国教育界和外语界制订的《21世纪外语学习目标》,即:Communication(交际),Cultures(文化),Connections(贯连),Comparisons(比较)和Communities(社区),简称为"5C"外语教育目标。"5C"外语教育目标对我国外语教学改革具有积极的借鉴和促进作用。 The U. S. Department of Education and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, through collaborative efforts, designed and published Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century which identifies five goal areas in foreign language education,i, e. , Communication, Cultures, Connections, Compari- sons and Communities. The English reform in China could make use of and gain impetus from the U. S. standards for foreign language learning. The paper attempts to talk about the t illuminating remarks that the Standards implied to the improvement of College English Teaching in China .
