A video processing system was designed in order to collect data and process images in real time. And this system can transmit these images through network. It used the TMS320C6455 as the core processor and the FPGA as the preprocessor.The main character of the TMS320C6455 and the principle of this system were particularly introduced in this paper.At the same time,a non-linear gray stretch method was proposed,and the important of all,we realized the image enhancement and target recognition in this system.
