摘要
ＥＰＰ（ＥｎｈａｎｃｅｄＰａｒａｌｅｌＰｏｒｔ）是ＩＥＥＥ１２４８协议定义的增强型并行口。本文介绍了有关ＥＰＰ的基本知识，包括ＥＰＰ的数据传输方式、ＥＰＰＢＩＯＳ及对其调用，还介绍了利用其他连接方式进行数据采集。ＥＰＰ作为ＰＣ同外设连接方面的一种趋势，它在数据传输速率、调用协议和同外设连接方式上，都具有其明显的特点和优势。因此，ＥＰＰ在数据采集方面将会得到更多和更广泛的应用。
Present the software and hardware design of an ultra sonic ranging in a mobile robot navigation system, including sampling and communication of range data. The scheme has been verified on the TIT 1 mobile robot, the results show that it is able to measure from 40 centimeters to 5 meters, the precision is 2 cm, which satisfy the demand of mobile robot navigation in indoor environment.
