摘要
如何在保证数据完整性和可用性的同时充分利用各存储结点的能力,并依据外部访问特征调整数据组织结构,是自适应海量存储系统的关键技术之一。针对该问题,本文提出一种文件级可调整RAID(RFRAID)结构。该结构在不中断服务的同时综合考虑各结点负载特征,以较少的数据迁移量进行平滑不间断的动态调整,使系统能够较好地适应外部访问特征。实验表明,该结构能够有效提高系统整体性能。
How to regulate the data layout according to the visiting pattern by fully utilizing all the nodes and keeping the data integrality and consistency is a key technology for self-adaptive mass storage systems(SAMSS). To solve this problem, this paper recommends the structure of RFRAID (regulable file RAID). Without interrupting the service, it synthetically considers the load characteristics of all the storage nodes,and regulates the data layout with fewer data transference~ And the system can adapt to the visiting patterrL The system performance can be improved evenly and continuously without interruption and sudden state transitions. Experiments show that the structure is effective and the system I/O performance can be enhanced distinctly.
