The principle of intelligent instrument is introduced simply.The paper expounded on the hardware and software design of a intelligent control instrument which is suitable for the measurement and control of temperament,liquid level etc.The designed intelligent instruments based on ATmega16 have good proportion in performance and price,and are indicated have the characteristics of good stability,high-accuracy and strong immunity etc. in practical application.
