大学英语四、六级考试对中国大学英语教学的反拨效应实证研究

An Empirical Study of CET Washback on College English Teaching and Learning in China

文章概述了"大学英语四、六级考试对中国大学英语教学的反拨效应实证研究"(2002-2005年)的研究源起、研究问题、研究模型、研究方法及主要结论。该研究是针对改革前的大学英语四、六级考试反拨效应的实证研究。国家社会科学基金项目"大学英语四、六级考试反拨效应历时研究"(07BYY030)将以此为基础,进而对改革后的四、六级考试反拨效应进行历时研究,以期在理论方面建立更加完善的反拨效应理论研究模型;在实践方面为四、六级考试相关人员(stakeholders)提供及时、有益的反馈信息,为提高中国大学英语教学质量做出贡献。与此同时,作为中国大规模、高风险考试反拨效应历时研究的首例,该项研究期望能为其它大规模、高风险考试的反拨效应研究提供借鉴。

This paper presents a brief introduction to the following aspects of the research ＂An Empirical Study of CET Washback on College English Teaching and Learning in China＂ （2002 - 2005） ： the origin of the research, the research questions, the research model, the research methodology and the major conclusions. This research fo- cused on the CET washback before its innovation. It will be the baseline for the project ＂A Chronological Study of the CET Washback＂ supported by the National Philosophy and Social Science Foundation of China （07BYY030）, which aims to do research into the CET washback after its innovation. It is expected that through the project a better theoretical washback research model be established and that immediate and beneficial feedback be provided to the related CET stakeholders. Meanwhile, as the first washback Chronological study of a large - scale and high - stakes test, the project also aims to provide reference for washback studies of other large - scale and high - stakes tests.
