在我国，职业教育与城市化进程紧密相连。西部职业教育发展中，出现了稳步、失衡和跨越发展三种现象。陕西作为西部城市化进程和职业教育发展的典型省份．应当抓住国家大力发展西部职业教育的机会，搞好职业教育软硬件设施建设，适时完成升级换代转型，紧跟西部城市化进程，科学制定本地职业教育发展规划，合理布局，扩大办学规模，灵活设置专业等，从而为西部职业教育可持续发展树立榜样。

In China, the development of vocational education is closely linked with the process of urbanization. In the development of vocational education in western, there exist the phenomenon of steady development, imbalance development and leap development. As the typical province of urbanization and development of vocational education in western, Shanxi should seize the rare opportunity of China making great efforts to develop western vocational education to improve the construction of hardware and software facilities, timely complete the upgrade and restructuring, scientifically set down the developing plan of lo- cal vocational education, rational distribution, expand school size and set specialty flexibly, and so on, to set an example for sustainable development of western vocational education.
