Synthesis of 5-n-Octanoylsalicylic Acid

摘要 以水杨酸甲酯和正辛酸为起始原料,先进行傅克反应再碱水解得到5-辛酰基水杨酸。经1H-NMR、IR确证目标产物结构,总收率70.5%。该路线原料廉价易得,反应条件温和,操作过程简便,适合工业生产。 To prepare 5 n octanoylsalicylic acid and simplify the synthetic operation, the target compound was synthesized with methyl salicylate and n-caprylic acid as the starting materials through Friedel-Crafts reaction and hydrolysis with sodium hydroxide. The desired product was obtained in total yield of 70.5% and its structure was confirmed hy ^1H-NMR and IR. In this simplified route, the overall cost is low and the reaction condition is mild, so it is suitable for the industrial manufacture.
