Taking Jinping Hydroelectric station for example, the author analyzed the climate, soil and vegetation of hot and arid valley. Moreover, the author gave a principle of plants in selection, and suggested the suitable garden plants in hot and arid valley hydroelectric station, which provided a technical basis to the construction of hydroelectric station.
