略论唐诗英译的意境美

A Preliminary Discussion of Beauty in Meaning in the translation of the Poems of the Tang Dynasty

唐诗是我国古代文学宝库中的瑰宝,意境美是诗的灵魂所在。通过对几首脍炙人口的唐诗英译中的意境美研究发现,在唐诗英译中必须注重对意境美的追求,这是意美原则在唐诗英译中的体现。

Poems of the Tang dynasty are the treasure of ancient literature in China. The beauty in meaning is the soul of these poetry. The present paper makes a study of the beauty of several well-known poems＇ in the Tang dynasty in meaning so as to show that the beaut）- in meaning must be expressed in translation, which is also required and used in the principle of beauty in meaning.
