摘要《奉使记》作为亨利·詹姆斯晚期的优秀作品因其独特的写作手法和作者对该小说主题意义探讨所留下的空间而增加了该作品的模糊性,造成读者理解的困境。本文欲以读者反应批评的重要代表人物伊瑟尔的文本召唤结构理论分析《奉使记》,试图解析读者困境的缘由。
