Helmholtz is an important and useful physical quantity in physical chemistry. Helmholtz was introduced in many kinds of teaching materials, but to its comprehension was referred little. The students beginning to learn physical chemistry had difficulties in understanding it. Based on the years teaching experience, how to understand Helrnholtz was discussed, which would help the students to learn physical chemistry more easily.
