An Analysis of Postgraduate Student Source of Universities and Colleges in Xinjiang

新疆高校研究生扩招后在生源方面出现了一些新变化,主要表现在生源绝对数小、数量增加缓慢、以当地培养的本科生居多数;近两年调剂生数量增幅较大,免试生和跨专业考生人数增加。有关部门应加强调研,有针对性地制定政策和措施,以保证生源的数量和质量跟上扩招形势的变化。

After recruitment expansion of postgraduates in universities of Xinjiang, new changes have taken place in student source. The changes are a shrinking number of students taking exams, a slow increase of students taking exams and a large proportion of undergraduates from Xinjiang. In the recent two years, with an increasing number of transferred postgraduate candidates, students exempt from exams and students taking exams of other specialties increased. Departments concerned should enhance investigation and make appropriate policy and measures to ensure both quantity and quality of student source to meet the needs of recruitment expansion.
