东晋时期,《庄子》随着玄学的兴盛而获得了新的发展契机,因其自身所具有的文学特质,它与东晋的文学创作紧密结合在一起。东晋文人将《庄子》对人生哲学的思索融和到诗歌抒情之中,这不仅拓展了东晋诗歌的题材,也升华了诗歌的意境,在诗歌情景交融之外强调理与情的结合,《庄子》成为流淌在玄言、隐逸、游仙、山水等东晋文坛主要题材中的一股潜流。通过与文学的结合,《庄子》亦扩大了影响,实现了庄学传播从玄学领域到文学领域的跨越。

With the popularity of dark learning in East-Jin dynasty,Zhuang Zigained the new chance of development. Because of its literature characteristic, Zhuang Zi was connected with literature creatation closely. Zhuang Zi not only enriched literature＇ s content ,but also enhanced the poems＇artistic conception. It brought life philosophy and romantic style to the poems. At the same time, Zhuang Zi enlarged the influence of itself, and realize the span from dark learning field to literature field.
