陆费逵与商务印书馆

Lu Feikui and the Commercial Press

1908年秋,陆费逵进入商务印书馆,得到丰厚的待遇和地位。1912年元旦,他从商务"跳槽"而创办中华书局。对此,有的学者没有从历史事实出发,指责陆费逵"忘恩负义"、"暗中搞鬼"。笔者认为,只有在占有资料的基础上,对陆费逵与商务印书馆的关系,才能做出符合实际的评判。

In the autumn of 1908, Lu Feikui began to work in the Commercial Press where he was well paid and ranked. He job-bopped to establish Zhonghua Book Company on the New Year＇s Day of 1912. Since that year, be has been criticized bitterly by some scholars for his job hop. However, being far from ＂ungrateful＂ or ＂playing tricks＂, Lu should be judged fairly only if enough data about the relationship between the Commercial Press and him have been studied.
