Critical Interference of Design——Planning of the Almere New City Center by OMA

针对奥梅尔地区固有的松散城市结构特点和中心地区公共凝聚力的缺乏,OMA在其新城中心规划中,以一种批判式的方式介入,利用交通的重整和程式的再注入,将其转变为一个集中的、层级分明的、易识别的场所,实现了公共交流的最大化。

Based on the reality of the fragmented urban structure and the lackness of the publicity of Almere old centre, OMA proposed a critical way of planning. By the re-integrating of the circulation and the re-organization of the programs, they transform it into a dense, clear and recognizable place, and also maximize the public communication.
