A Review of Chinese Literary Creation by Malaysian Writers of "a New Generation"

马华新生代作为当下马华文坛一道亮丽的文学风景,已引起海内外汉语批评界的广泛关注。学者们大多从新生代书写的身份认同、文化归属、历史想象、本土意识等层面展开论述,揭示了马华新生代创作中的边缘流散心态和消解、颠覆传统的反叛精神。基于以上研究现状,文章从微观作家解读和宏观理论探讨两个层面深入分析、梳理了当下马华新生代创作与批评的多元互动格局和总体发展风貌,旨在为读者提供一个认识马华新生代的切入点。

As a brilliant literary scene in the current Chinese literary arena of Malaysa,Malaysian writers of a new generation engaged in Chinese literary creation have attracted extensive attention from overseas Chinese criticism circles. Scholars have expounded mainly on those writers of a new generation in terms of their identity acceptance, cultural ownership, historical imagination, provincialism, etc. , and have illustrated the marginalized scattering state of mind of Malaysian writers of a new generation in their literary creation and their rebellious spirit of removing and subverting tradition. Based on the above status quo of studies, this paper attempts to analyze and explore the poly-interactive pattern and the overall development view of present Malaysian writers of a new generation in their Chinese literary creation and criticism from two perspectivesthe micro-interpretation of writers and the macro-exploration of literary theories, so as to provide for readers an entrance to understanding Malaysian Chinese writers of a new generation.
