Searching Amidst Reflections and Reconstructions——My Academic Road

在半个世纪的学术生涯里,我以科研引领教学,以教学促进科研,在中国现当代文学和文学理论批评领域中进行了学术层面的探讨。回想起来,上个世纪80年代中期"方法论"热对我的影响最大。从这以后,新时期多种文学思潮的起伏更替,促使我以"现代性"为中心,以较为明晰的"问题意识"对我从事的学术工作进行重新审视,从而较之过去获得了较多的成果。

During my half-century academic career, I have made explorations in the fields of modem Chinese literature and literary theory criticism under the principle that teaching and research promote each other. The methodology craze during the 1980s had the greatest influence on me. Thereafter, the rise and fall of miscellaneous new literary trends have made me re-examine my academic work with ＂modernity＂ as my focus and a clearer ＂problem consciousness,＂ leading me to more achievements.
