在计划经济时代,科技情报行业为我国科技、经济与社会发展发挥了＂尖兵、耳目和参谋＂的重要作用.本文阐述了信息时代科技情报工作的地位和作用,对在社会主义市场经济环境下我国科技情报行业发展战略与发展路径进行了思考.

In the planned economy period, the S＆T information service played an important Role of ＂pioneers, eyes and ears, and staff officers＂ in the development of science, technology, economy and society of China. This paper expounds the position and role of S＆T information service in the information age, and presents some thinking on the development strategy and approach to China＇s S＆T information service under the environment of socialist market economy.
