本体概念研究综述

Review of Research about Ontology Conception

近年来,本体（Ontology）在人工智能、知识工程以及图书情报等领域获得广泛的关注,它所包含的哲学思想对这些领域产生了深远的影响.然而,国内外不同领域对本体的内涵见解各异,这在一定程度上阻碍了本体的研究.本文从本体的起源及哲学源流入手,分别对人工智能领域、知识工程领域及图书情报领域国内外本体概念进行概括与总结,分别列举了这几个领域的学者给出的较具代表性的本体定义,然后对每个定义均作出了客观的评价,并在此基础上提出笔者的观点,以期为本体的研究提供参考.

Ontology has gained a broad attention within the artificial intelligence community, knowledge engineering community and library and information science community in recent years, and its philosophial ideas have affected these commutinities a lot. However, the view of ontology conception cann＇t come to terms, which blocks the study on ontology. The paper started with the origin and philosophy headstream of ontology, and then summarized the connotation of ontology in research fields as Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Engineering and Library and Information Science. Basing on this, the authors gave out their viewpoints of ontology.
