刚架拱桥是在双曲拱桥、桁架拱桥和斜腿刚构桥的基础上,结合我国拱桥特点及无支架施工经验而发展起来的新桥型,具有结构轻型、线条简单、造型美观等特点。以往城市桥梁建设中,较少采用单孔刚架拱桥,但在地形、造价、防洪、通航、景观等诸多因素限制下,单孔刚架拱桥又以自身各项优点成为首选方案。

However, it has already become the bridge - type selected first because the restrictions of the topography, cost,flood preventing, navigation, landscape etc, in addition owing to a lot of advantages of itself.
