仪式源于宗教,旅游来自世俗,将旅游与仪式相提并论,这是旅游人类学为理解旅游体验之本质所提供的独特视角。旅游因何而神圣,又为何堪与严肃的仪式相比肩,对此,本文拟通过评析美国旅游人类学家纳尔什.格雷本的"旅游仪式论"加以阐明。

Rituals originate from religion, whereas tourist activities come from common customs. The reason why tourism and rituals are mentioned in the same breath is the unique perspective provided by tourist anthroplogy to understand the essence of tourist experience. Why has tourism become sacralized and why could it stand side by side with solemn rituals？ The paper tries to elaborate by analyzing ＇ Tourism as Ritual： A General Theory of Tourism＇ written by U.S. tourist anthropologist Mr. Nelson Graburn.
