摘要
有一则很有名的故事，说的是唐代大画家阎立本到荆州看张僧繇的画。初一见认为“徒有虚名”；明日再去，看法有所不同，认为“只近代画手”，第三次又往，竞叹曰“名下定无虚士”，于是寝卧其下，十日不离。千载之下，读来仍有趣味，古人观世，有如此反复痴迷者。现在的问题恰恰就出在这位阎立本身上。他的传世名作《历代帝王图》和《步辇图》，至今烟云缭绕，奠辨真面。
Buniantu depicts Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty meeting the emissary of the Tubo king Songtsan Gampo in Chang＇an in 641 AD who was to marry Princess Wencheng.Through ages ,people are unable to deckde whether it is the authentic work or just of a dopy of it,whether it was painted ,by Yan liben on not,In this paper,the author gives his view on this painting.
