摘要
目的:提出了一种可用于CT仿真结肠镜和其他空腔性结构可视化的薄壁快速体绘制方法。方法:基于图像分割和三维形态学运算,能够去除空腔中积水的影响,并加快体绘制的速度。利用VGLR体绘制工具包,实现高效的内窥体绘制计算。结果:在一组真实的CT结肠数据中,实现了图像分割、形态学运算及快速实时体绘制,体绘制速度达到原来的3倍。结论:这一技术能加快空腔结构内窥体绘制的速度,去除肠道内积水的影响,提高可视化效果。
AIM: A new fast thin-wall volume rendering method for CT colonography or visualization of other hollow structures is presented.
METHODS: This method, based on image segmentation and three-dimensional mathematical morphology, can be used for cleansing the influence of water accumulated in the lumen and increasing the speed of volume rendering. Making use of VGL volume rendering toolkit, the effective volume rendering computing can be realized. RESULTS: Within a real CT data set of colon, the image segmentation, morphological computing and fast real-time volume rendering are realized. The speed of volume rendering becomes three times as fast as the direct rendering method.
CONCLUSION: This technique can speed up the volume rendering process in hollow structures, cleanse the water in the lumen and improve the visualization for endoscopic volume rendering of hollow structures.
