Merocel高膨胀海棉与凡士林纱条填塞鼻出血的应用比较

Highly expansive sponge Merocel versus vaseline gauze in nasal packing

比较传统的凡士林纱条与Merocel高膨胀海棉作为鼻腔充血的新型生物材料填塞物的临床效果。结果两组患者填塞后48h出血量差异无显著性(P>0.05)。应用Merocel高膨胀海绵填塞及填塞期间的全身反应情况都较凡士林纱条组轻。说明应用Merocel高膨胀海棉是可靠的鼻出血鼻腔填塞物。

To compare the clinical effects of traditional vaseline gauze with that of highly expansive sponge Merocel as nasal packing material. There was no significant difference in the volume of bleeding within 48 hours between the two groups （P 〉 0.05）. Furthermore, the severity of painful feeling occurred during packing and withdrawing of packing material was also much less severe in the group of cases packed with Merocel than in those with vaseline gauze. It is concluded that the using of Merocel highly expansive sponge is an effective material and usable for nasal packing in epistaxis.
