长期以来在水彩画的创作与教学过程中,人们习惯于将水彩画看作小画种,过多地把它作为训练色彩与造型的手段,忽略了水彩画艺术的本质。这种观点制约着水彩画的创作和教学,需要重新审视水彩画的基础与艺术性。

We have long viewed water color painting as a small subentry. We treated it so much as a method of color and formative training in its producing and teaching that its artistic nature are ignored and its creation and instruction limited as a result. It is necessary for us to rediscover the foundation and artistic quality of water color painting.
