Investigation on Injury and Treatment of 1200 Cases Injured by Animals in Taikang County

[目的]了解太康县居民被犬、猫类动物致伤及处理情况。[方法]对2005年9月1日至2006年8月31日在太康县卫生防疫站狂犬病疫苗接种门诊就诊的被犬、猫类动物致伤人员进行详细的调查与登记。[结果]共调查1200例受伤者,第三季度受伤最多,417例,占34.8%;城区高于乡镇;16～50岁750例,占62.5%;农民较多,共640例,占53.3%;被犬致伤者1121例,占93.4%;受伤部位上下肢1148例,占95.6%;狂犬病疫苗全程免疫者1169例,占97.4%。全程免疫者未发生狂犬病。[结论]受伤后伤口处理和接受免疫预防率均较高,显示了目前居民对狂犬病的预防意识较强。

[Objective] To understand the injury in the residents injured by dogs, cats and the treatment in Taikang County. [Methods]From September 1., 2005 to August 31,2006, all the visiting cases injured by dogs and cats were thoroughly investigated and registered in the Department of Rabies hnmunization of the Antipidemic Station of Taikang County. [Results]1 200 injured cases were investigated. 417 cases were injured in the third quarter,accounting for 34.8%; The cases occurred in urban district .were more than that in town; 750 injured cases aged from 16 to 50,accounting for 62.5%;640 injured cases were farmers, accounting for 53.3%;1 121 cases were injured by dogs, accounting for 93.4%;1 148 cases upper and lower extremity were injured,accounting for 95.6% ; 1 169 cases completed full immunization with rabies vaccine, accounting for 97.4%. There were no rabies cases in the injured cases who completed full immunization. [Conclusion]Most of the injured cases can visit in Anti-epidemic Station, the injured cases can be treated and vaccinated properly, it showed that rabies prevention was carried out well in local residents.
