摘要
考虑光纤色散三阶效应,推导出无啁啾的高斯脉冲沿光纤传输时脉冲变化的表达式,利用对称分步傅里叶方法(SSFM)求解非线性薛定谔方程(NLS),探讨了三阶色散高斯光脉冲传输的影响。数值研究结果表明三阶色散会使光脉冲形状发生畸变,会在其前沿或后沿附近形成非对称的振荡结构。
The analytic expression was derived by taking into account the third-order dispersion as a Gaussian pulse without chirp propagating along the single-mode fiber. The effects of third-order dispersion on Gaussian pulses propagation in optical fiber were studied by using symmetrical split-step Fourier method (SSFM) for solving the nonlinear Schroedinger equation (NLS). Numerical experiments show that the third-order dispersion generates distortion to the optical pulse shape with an unsymmetrical structure at the front or back edge.
