Through investigation into filtration theory the filtration equation is simplified in accordance with horizontal belt vacuum filter operation condition.The paper gives an analysis of the factors effecting on performance of horizontal belt vacuum filter operation and also gives theoretical analysis on optimum design of the filter to obtain optimum operation performance at lowest operation cost.
