Five Relations Should Be Dealt with to Construct Socialism Harmonious Society

构建社会主义和谐社会,必须处理好稳定与发展、效率与公平、多样性与协调性、全局性与区域性、造福当代与遗泽后代五个方面关系。稳定与发展是双向互动的,社会和谐不但体现着社会稳定,而且体现着社会发展;"效率优先兼顾公平"在新的条件下应该改为"效率服务公平";多样性固然是和谐的前提,但如果没有协调性,就会失范;全局性发展必须通过发挥区域优势和调节区域关系来实现;一定要汲取发达国家先污染后治理的教训处理好发展经济与保护环境的关系,努力协调好人类与自然的关系。

Five relations should be dealt with to construct socialism harmonious society, they are relation between stability and development, relation between efficiency and fairness, relation between variety and coordination, relation between generality and partiality and relation between benefiting contemporaries and benefiting futures. Stability and development are mutually promoted. Social harmony embodies not only the stability of society but also the development of the society. ＂Efficiency prefers to justice＂ should be changed to ＂Efficiency serves for justice＂. Though variety is the precondition of harmony,without coordination,the society will be in chaos. Each does his things in his own way or wipes off the harmony to take the same. At present, we should carry out the strategy of western exploitation further and adjust the industry layout quickly according to Dengxiaoping＇ s thought of＂showing consideration for two overall situation＂, in respect that the overall development shoed be implemented by exerting regional predominance and adjusting the regional relation. We must derive the bitter lesson from those developed countries who dispose pollution after polluting first. We must benefit futures when benefiting contemporaries simultaneously. Contrarily,we should not seek so-called achievements in one＇ s post, which is really counting the chickens before they are worm. Furthermore,they cut offthe subsistence of descendents to some extent. We should be firm in dealing with the relation between developing economy and protecting environment and strive to assort with the relation between human being and nature. We should try to resume the amicable relation between human being and nature.
