On the Subjectivity of the Translator from the Perspective of Relevance Theory

长期以来,翻译研究多集中于对翻译的性质、翻译的标准和翻译技巧的探讨,而对作为翻译活动中最具主观能动性、最积极活跃因素的译者却缺少关注。本文主要从关联翻译观的视角,探讨了译者主体性在翻译活动中的具体体现。

The nature of translation, translation principles and translation techniques have long been the focus of translation studies, while little attention has been paid to translators, the most active participant in translation activities. Drawing on the relevance-theoretic translation theory, this paper attempts to analyze the subjectivity of the translator in the process of translation.
