Talking about Basic English Teaching in the College of the Traditional Chinese Medicine

随着中医药日益走向世界,英语教学日显重要。这也给英语教学工作者及学生提出了更高的要求。本文中,作者从2003年所做的关于学生对自身英语水平认识方面的问卷调查出发,分析目前中医专业学生在基础英语学习中出现的一些问题,并阐述针对该问题作者近年来所做的努力及取得的一些经验。

Basic English is the cornerstone that built the bridge between the world and the national treasure, the Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM）. With the increasing internationalization of the TCM, higher requirement is put forward by the society to the students as well as English teachers. In this paper, from the angle of students, author analyzes some problems in English teaching in the college of TCM. Meanwhile, author concludes some experiences from these years of teaching practices for solving those problems.
