An Ethical Reflection on the Modern Famine and Poverty Issues

饥荒和贫困问题已成为十分尖锐的全球性重大问题。从20世纪70年代起,西方哲学家们对此进行了深入的研究,并形成了各种不同的观点,其中最具代表意义的是辛格的援助义务观点,与之形成鲜明对照的则是沃瑟的"饥荒救济与理想的道德法典"理论及哈丁的"公地悲剧"论。在中国,这一问题还没有真正被纳入哲学家的视野,我们应该深入了解西方的研究现状,批判地吸纳西方研究的理论成果,使我们的相关研究尽快进入国际研究的前沿。

Femine and poverty has become a very important global problem that our humankind is faced with. However, it has not been noticed until 1970＇s. This paper focuses on introducing and commenting contemporary western ethical researches and their results on femine and poverty. In view of China＇s situation of study in the problem, this paper puts forward to accept the western theoretical results on this aspect, and to use them for our own purpose.
