Calculation of International Competitiveness of Chinese Knowledge-intensive Service Trade

知识型服务贸易的国际竞争力体现了一国知识经济的发展程度。通过使用RCA和NXRCA指数,对中国在内的九个国家2002年和2005年知识型服务贸易国际竞争力进行测算,可以看出,欧美发达国家在知识型服务贸易上具有明显的比较优势,而中国知识型服务贸易的国际竞争力相对较弱。大力发展知识经济,推进创新型国家建设是提升我国知识型服务贸易国际竞争力的必由之路。

The international competitiveness of knowledge-intensive service trade indicates a country＇s development of scientific economy.Using the RCA Index and NXRCA Index,we calculated the international competitiveness of knowledge-intensive service trade in 9 countries（including China） in the year of 2002 and 2005.Then we can draw a conclusion that the developed countries have obviously comparative advantages in knowledge-intensive service,while China is comparatively weak in this field.Considerably developing scientific economy and advancing construction of innovating country is a necessary way for us to improve international competitiveness of knowledge-intensive service trade in China.
