On Private School and Family Studying in the Mid-Dynasty Tang from Tombstone Documents

中唐时期的碑志文中有大量的材料反映墓主受教育的情况。从中唐碑志文中的材料,可以概览出当时私学的发展原因、教学内容和教育形式和家学的授课内容与授课主体,从而展示中唐时期官学以外的这两种教育形式在当时的发展状况。

The tombstone documents offer the documents about the educational state of the tomb owner. This paper discusses the reason of the development of the teaching contents and the forms of private school through relevant information in the tombstone documents in the Mid- Tang Dynasty. It also analyzes the teaching contents and the teachers of the family studying. From this, we can learn the developmental state of the two educational forms apart from the official schools in the Mid - Tang Dynasty at that time.
