孔子和耶稣都是在人类历史上有着巨大影响的文化宗师。他们不仅孕育和建构了深刻影响人类文化历史发展进程的思想和宗教学说,而且通过教育指导学生、门徒的传道授业,既丰富充实了其思想文化内涵,又扩大衍续了其文化影响。因此,关注和探讨他们在教育方面的思想和实践,无论是对于深入了解他们的思想和宗教的精神实质,还是寻求有利于现今世界教育改革与发展以及不同文化之间交流、沟通的借鉴,都是十分有益十分必要的。

Both Confucius and Jesus were culture masters who had far - reaching influence on the history of humankind. They had not only bred and build the thought, religious system and doctrines, which had profoundly influenced the cultural and historic development of humankind, but also instructed their students and disciples through education. By doing so, they had enriched their contents of thought and culture, widened and extended their cultural influences. Thus, it is of benefit and necessity to discuss their educational thought and practices, so as to deeply understand spiritual essence of their thought and religion, and to seek for the references conducive to today＇ s world educational reform and development and to the exchanges among different cultures.
