截杆对香蕉生长与产量的影响

Effect of Pseudostem Cutting on the Growth and Yield of Sucker Banana

比较研究了全截杆、半截杆和全留杆3种不同截杆方式对留芽香蕉和母株香蕉的生长性状及产量的影响。结果表明:半截杆(1.5m处)处理的香蕉株高适中,产量较高;留芽香蕉的株高、茎径、产量都极显著高于母株的。

Banana were harvested and their pseudostems were treated by complete cut, half cut and non-cut to observe the growth and yield of their suckers at our experimental site with granite-derived laterite soil. The results of the treatments were compared with those of their mother plants （tissue cultured plant）. The suckers under the half cut treatment （cut 1.5 m above the ground） grew suitably high and yielded high. The suckers were found much evidently higher in height, stem diameter and yield than their mother plants.
