Application of rail-mounted gantry crane in large container terminal

基于对我国第一个应用现代轨道龙门起重机(以下简称轨道场桥)的大型专业集装箱码头研究,系统地分析和总结了大型集装箱码头,应用轨道场桥的技术优势和堆场作业操作的新技术,提出了轨道场桥消除堆场作业峰值的新方法,并从实际应用角度论证轨道场桥是目前和未来集装箱码头堆场最合适的装卸设备。

This paper studies large professional container terminal which using rail- mounted gantry crane （hereafter called RMG） first. Based on it, technological advantages of using RMG and new technologies in yard operation are discussed and summarized, and thus a new way to eliminating yard operation peak period is provided. Actual application proves that RMG is the most suitable loading/unloading equipment for terminal operation.
