米蔡书法差异论

On differences between calligraphies of Mi Fu and Cai Xiang

摘要 米芾、蔡襄以其独特的书法艺术风格雄踞宋代书坛。蔡书冲和,米书豪爽,奇崛多姿,丰神各异。同是宋四家,九百年的今天,米书热潮不减,蔡书门前冷落。当我们回首重新审视他们的书法时,不难发现:艺术不是沿袭,艺术的生命在于创新,在于不断的发展。 Mi Fu and Cai Xiang take a grand stand in the field of calligraphy of the Song Dynas their unique artistic styles in calligraphy. Cai' s calligraphy is strikingly and uninhibited, showing strange positions and different spirits. Though soft while Mi' s one ty with is bold they are calligraphers in the same dynasty, in today after nine hundred years Mi' s calligraphy is as popular as before while Cai' s one becomes unpopular. When we review their calligraphies, it is not hard to find that arts does not carries on as before, but its life lies on creation and continuous development.
