Sexual politics has been the main target of feminism ever since the beginning of feminist criticism. In the novel Women in Love, Lawrence creates two female characters Ursula and Gudrun; they revolt against the patriarchal society in the image of intellectuals and mainly achieve success in both breaking away from the housework and changing the status of otherness.
