通过阐述以学生为中心的网络英语教学的主要优势,分析其主要模式,并对以学生为中心的网络英语教学设计应遵循的原则进行论述,达到提高学生学习英语能力的目的。

This paper elaborates the advantages of student-centered on-line English teaching, introduces its basic modes and the principles we need to follow in its designing. Chinese students＇ foreign language learning is less effective than that of their foreign counterparts. The main reason is that the traditional teacher-centered teaching mode neglects the initiative and creativity of students. Only through teaching English by Internet can the problem be solved.
