A new type of process and equipment for rinsing raw salt was introduced. In fullscale operation, the process manifested excellent stability in use for real sea water. While maintaining a high quality for the resulted sea salt, this process was also able to produce particles with low sec- ondary brittleness, high granularity. Together with benefits such as low powder salt percentage, low energy cost,the recommended process has proven to offer a very cost-effective method for salt rinsing.
